Relate To Yourself Through Your Journal (1271 hits)

Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday you get to read about the most honest parts of Emmanuel Brown.

During the time I am typing these words, I am digging deep within and releasing the words that are sometimes hidden. This is not something that I consider a talent, it is something that I think we are all bless with.

No matter how good a person is at expressing their feelings to the world, they are always good at expressing their feelings with brutal honesty to the person that they see when they look in the mirror.

By writing in a diary, a journal, a blog, an email, or just a simple notebook you are getting to know a person that is probably your best friend...That person in the mirror...Get to know that person.

Have A Blessed Day and Enjoy The Message,

SG

"To write spiritually is to engage in a search for authentic language. You’ll find your truth by writing your way to it."
-- Patrice Vecchione

Who would allow you to totally ignore, abuse, laugh with, swear at, shed tears on, get angry at and be totally honest with him/her? Your journal does.

Your journal is an unconditional friend. It does not reject, manipulate, judge, laugh at or ridicule you. It’s always there for you. So be honest with your best friend and it will help you discover who you are.

"The positive thing about writing is that you connect with yourself in the deepest way, and that’s heaven. You get a chance to know who you are, to know what you think. You begin to have a relationship with your mind."
-- Natalie Goldberg

Great Insight! So many do not journalize, but I am one who does. I have discovered many things I've written down have come true in my very life. I was actually ready for them, because I kept a record of my thoughts, and events. It is a sure relationship of yourself, and you get to work on improving things that you may lack in. I encourage journalizing and I buy and give to young people. It is the power of word. Write it down and see what happens...I dare you!

I believe that proper preparation prevents poor performance. Journaling is very helpful.
