This position is part of Truist Audit Services Auditor Development Program.

ADP provides teammates early in their careers with a comprehensive, 12-18 month experience that immerses them in the foundations of internal audit.

These teammates:

Developstrong audittesting skills via structured framework

Utilize critical thinking while completing assurance work

Advance documentation skills

Apply key risk concepts to audit-related scenarios

Practice risk identification and risk analysis through case studies and application in audit work

Work in cross-functional teams to develop and strengthen teamwork

Develop an understanding of multiple processes that occur in a large financial services organization to serve clientsall while mitigating risks

Upon completion of the program, teammates will beskilledrisk- and control-minded professionalsand placed within a TAS team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.Specific activities may change from time to time.

Develop internal audit skills.

Prepare foreffective client interviews and documentation of interview results via narratives,flowchartsand process maps under the guidance of the Engagement Manager.

Analyze process documentation to evaluatedesigneffectiveness and efficiency of controls.

Execute testing strategy directed by the Engagement Manager.

Identifyinternal control weaknesses.

Communicate internal control weaknesses to the Engagement Manager.

Gain knowledge of the organization, operations,policiesand procedures (including banking laws and regulations) under which Truist operates.

Receive constructive feedback and applytofuture assignments.

Bachelors Degree or Mastersdegreerequiredwith a graduation date of May 2024 - June 2026

Goodanalytical skills with high attention todetailsand accuracy.

Ability to grasp the underlying concepts in complex information.

Gooddecision-making skills.

Good aptitude for learning analytical,auditand/or facilitation skills.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiencyin basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previousexperiences or coursework in internal audit, riskmanagementor related topics/areas.

Working toward orpossessapplicable professional certification(s) (e.g., Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), etc.).

Advanced knowledge of key software products (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and programming languages (e.g., Python).

The annual base salary for this position is $72,000 - $78,000.

General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to teammates.
